By accessing or using Hive (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Hive is a digital business card platform that allows users to create online profiles, share them via NFC-enabled cards, and manage their professional links and contact information. The Service includes a web application for profile management and publicly accessible profile pages.
When you create an account with Hive, you agree to:
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create through the Service, including profile information, images, and links. By using the Service, you grant Hive a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute your content as necessary to operate the Service (e.g., rendering your public profile page). You are solely responsible for the content you publish and must ensure it does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
Physical NFC cards purchased through Hive are pre-programmed with your profile URL. Cards are shipped as-is and are non-refundable once programmed. Hive is not responsible for NFC card damage, loss, or malfunction after delivery. NFC functionality depends on the receiving device's hardware and software capabilities.
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
You may not use the Service to:
The Hive name, logo, and all related branding, design elements, and software are the intellectual property of Hive. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent. The Service and its original content (excluding user content) remain the exclusive property of Hive.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Hive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and your public profile will no longer be accessible.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
